Hallmark looked to launch a direct-to-consumer catalog brand coupling the unique items found in select Gold Crown stores with its burgeoning flowers business. J. Schmid worked with Hallmark to develop a marketing communications plan, establish a customer segmentation model, build its prospecting plan and launch a multi-phased effort. The campaign proved Hallmark could take their traditional retail approach direct to consumers. It also established a new product line extension under the overall Hallmark brand.
